Panel A: “Which Europe of Security and Defence do we want?”. The speakers on this panel will be MEPs, Λευτέρης Χριστοφόρου – Lefteris Christoforou and Costas Mavrides – Κώστας Μαυρίδης, as well as the journalist, Alexia Tasouli.
Panel B: “Creating a European Culture of Security and Defence through Education and Research”. Among the speakers will be MEP (S&D) and Vice-Chair of the European Parliament’s Subcommittee on Defence and Security, Νίκος Ανδρουλάκης, the Head of the European Security and Defence College, Dirk Dubois, the Chair of the Doctoral School of the European Security and Defence College, Foteini Asderaki, and the Initiator of the Military Erasmus and the CSDP Doctoral School, Sylvain Paile.
Panel C: The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Christodoulides will discuss about the future of the European Security and Defence with young Europeans.
The conference is organised by the European Parliament Office in Cyprus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the European Security and Defence College and the European Citizens Association, in the framework of the Conference on the Future of Europe and it is under the auspices of the President of the House of Representatives.
